I love exploring wild places and remote mountaintops. 

I'm trained in permaculture design, and I'm a certified holistic herbalist. 

I've been working with herbs for almost 30 years. I've studied with some of the best herbalists out there, including David Hoffman, Susun Weed, Paul Bergner, Brigette Mars, Michael Moore, 7Song, and more.

I received my permaculture training from Tim Murphy at Prescott College, in Prescott, AZ, and I completed my herbal certification at The Rocky Mountain Center For Botanical Studies in Boulder, CO.  

I live in the beautiful and ancient mountains of Western North Carolina, surrounded by friends, family, community, animals, wildlife, and the awe-inspiring splendor of the natural world
